Our Story

Onwards HR was born over coffee, omelets, and grits. Seventeen years after meeting on the campus of Georgia Tech, Sarah Rodehorst and Janice Yu Edwards reunited for breakfast at Flying Biscuit. They previously worked together at Connecture, a health insurance sales automation software startup. After going their separate ways, Sarah and Janice continued to launch B2B SaaS applications in the HR industry, now boasting a combined 40 years of experience.

Since the first-of-its-kind technology launched in 2019, Onwards HR has improved the separation process for employers and employees.
