2023 in Review

What a year! As we usher in 2024, Onwards HR has a lot to celebrate. Before we rush head-first into what’s next, we want to take a moment to reflect on the many accomplishments that made 2023 a success.

First, let’s talk about product updates. These are some of the new offerings we launched in 2023:

  • A Separation Notice Automation product that enables clients to quickly generate and distribute unemployment insurance notices to separated employees following state mandated requirements

  • Mini-WARN Act functionality that dynamically generates and distributes mini-WARN Act notices when applicable

  • Multiple language capability, enabling clients to generate severance packages in Spanish and French—with more languages on the way

  • Additional talent acquisition features, better empowering companies to retain top employees

Next up is partnerships! Here are some of the highlights:

Onwards HR was also honored to receive the following recognitions:

Lastly, we formed the Onwards HR Advisory Board, made up of four talent management experts who have been instrumental in our growth and strategy:

  • Jenny Dearborn - CPO at Productboard

  • Ram Jambunathan - VP, Strategy & Planning at Intapp

  • Jon Ziglar - CEO at Rent and President at Summit Growth Advisors

  • Alison Latimer Lohse - Global EVP, Strategic Solutions at EssenceMediacom

We’re grateful for all the ways in which Onwards HR has grown in 2023. Above all, we appreciate the companies that entrust us with the difficult task of managing employee separations, including the new clients who helped increase our customer base by ~300% and expand our footprint in the healthcare, construction, and retail industries. We look forward to what’s in store in 2024!

None of this would be possible without the many amazing people who contribute to our success and further our mission to make separations better.

Thank you!
Sarah Rodehorst
CEO and Co-Founder, Onwards HR
